Powered by GoogleCFG & Family had a CD Album release concert. Also tour a women in arts show while we there.
I was so thrilled and impressed with the Fitton Center. I performed here on a tour stop recently and we all were raving about the experience. Not only do they take such kind and great care of their visitors on the production side, but they clearly care and put so much love into the community they serve. We got to hear stories from the team about the kids in the community that come to experience the art they produce, got to learn and meet the students/families, and see the extensive outreach and effort they put into the center. There was a meal provided to ticket-holders to have dinner before the show (they also provided us with dinner as well) and the food was AMAZING. There were craft rooms for the kids to play in, display areas, and so much more! The building is beautiful (the ballroom used as a dining hall was stunning) and it was large, spacious, and full of things to explore. The amount of programs offered here was such a beautiful surprise to us! They care so much about bringing art and opportunity to the community! The day after us, they were having a world-renowned pianist perform. Our hearts were so warmed to get a glimpse into the inner workings of this wonderful arts center. To see places so focused on creating beautiful experiences that are accessible and putting so much effort, time, and love into their work was unforgettable. I will always be so grateful to have spent the night meeting these passionate humans and seeing the fruits of their labor!! My heart is so full. ❤️
We>Me 17 Artist 17 Neighborhoods. I loved seeing my city through another lens. The Finton Center is a wonderful place to enjoy the Arts in the heart of an Amazing city.
I held an eclipse-viewing part on the outdoor terrace at the Fitton Center. It was the absolute perfect spot for my event! All the guests were incredibly impressed with the venue and location. Even without the eclipse, there are still lovely views of the river and a nice breeze. The staff was very friendly and helpful and make everything very easy. I would definitely host an event there again and I highly recommend them.
It's probably cool if something's going on. Most of the galleries were empty and closed on my visit. The student gallery was the only art on display. It was nice but not worth a stop with so little to look at.
