First Tee - Toledo (First Tee Lake Erie) is the local chapter of the national First Tee youth-golf network, serving about 700 Northwest Ohio children a year. It teaches golf skills alongside character-building and life values through affordable, accessible programs, with after-school sessions in the school year and indoor/outdoor programs in summer. Clubs are provided and the small registration fee can be waived by financial need; its Hill Avenue site includes a driving range, putting green and athletic field.

Driving range has high quality mats so your fat shots are slowed way down like a real hit on soil. I still really prefer a driving range on the ground but I understand why they have mats. I come here all the time to work on my game.
