First Pitch Academy is a private baseball training facility at 5619 S I Rd. in Edinburg with batting cages, practice fields and dedicated pitching areas. It offers tunnel rentals with or without a pitching machine, team training packages, private one-on-one instruction and a weekly baseball camp that begins the first Friday of each month, led by proprietor Pablo and his coaching staff. The facility is open weekday evenings 4-9pm and Saturdays 1-6pm, so its programming runs outside standard workday hours rather than as a full-day summer camp.

★★★★★PI like that there is enough space to move around and not feel claustrophobic, batting cages are divided 3 and 3 so that you don't feel one on top of the other and has 2 extra cages outside and a pitching mount on another side of the building to practice pitching without being bothered and people passing in front of you, the outside field is a huge bonus great for Team practices.. Available also is the extreme boxing classes for us moms that want to get a workout in while your child gets his baseball work out in. I highly recommend this facility.
