A 501(c)(3) multidisciplinary arts education nonprofit in Chicago's South Loop, founded in 2018 to widen access to music and fine arts for students on the city's South and West Sides. Programs are built around weekly private lessons of 30, 45 or 60 minutes - piano, voice, guitar, strings, drums, winds, visual art and coding - taught in person or over Zoom, plus digital art, musical theater and drama, creative writing and music therapy.

We picked the music lesson activity with Mr Omar and the kiddos had a blast! Plus, as parents, it was so nice to watch them learn about music and hear them play in the drum circle. We also had a bounce house that the kids loved! It was SUPER easy to set up and flexible (I had monster truck themed decorations to add). The staff was EXCELLENT! Super helpful and proactive ... (ie got out the headphones for any kiddo that needed it during the drum circle). Plus, as a huge bonus, free parking in their lot! (which helped bc I happened to schedule the party the during a Bears game) ... If you haven't checked FAME out for parties, I highly recommend them!!!! A GEM in the SLOOP for KIDDO parties! 🩷

I got to see my baby dance and following instructions. It was like the game musical chairs but with a fancy twist. They dance until the music stops then have to make it to the color that was called. U DNT make it to the color n time then you're out. After, they went to the quiet room to wind down but they were still energized. I enjoyed watching my daughter have fun!
