ExplorationWorks, Helena's science center and children's museum, offers weeklong half-day summer camps for ages 4 and up, running June through August. Themed STEM camps meet mornings (8:30am–12:30pm) or afternoons (1:00–5:00pm), and families can combine a morning and afternoon camp for a full day. Example sessions have served ages 8–13.

★Nina WalterWe went here over the weekend and were not impressed. My daughter was playing imagination and was being a little loud and one of the employees came over to us and told us that she needed to move and use a quieter voice because this is a museum. Kids are gonna be kids and with this being a children’s museum I found it absurd that this lady told us to quiet down. Not only that but we ended up getting sick which led me to believe that they don’t clean their toys very well. I would not recommend this place and we will not be back.

★★★★★P VFun fun fun! Got toddlers curious and love to explore. This is a place for you! Indoor water table, Lego table, indoor dramatic area kitchen, books, slide, and puppets. Second floor magnet table jungle magnets, bee area 🐝 and light tubes. There are stairs or an elevator you can take for Second floor access. Restrooms clean, soap smell nice, good lighting, and they had changing tables. Staff was friendly and told us about deals that save us a couple of bucks. They have a birthday room you can rent. All activities are indoor.
★★★★★Amy HWe are members and we got in free, so that's a plus. The staff was nice and they had a bike exhibit that was cool. The museum was small but still fun. Took us about 30-45 Minutes to do the entire thing. I do have bigger kids that are 8 and 14. I think smaller kids would need more time.
