Very very very disappointed. When I first booked this hall, the ladies were very helpful and so sweet, then a few months before my actual booking I guess they changed departments of who was in control which I think why it was a terrible experience afterwards. My event was in the winter and first thing arriving the hall was freezing. We went to ask the staff member, if she could turn the heater on and she said she had to get permission too.. which makes no sense. Why would the hall not already be at a comfortable temperature for guests? For the first two hours, my guests were sitting in the cold and complaining. I also rented some machines, cotton candy , ice cream and a photo booth and the breakers kept tripping through the whole event. Half the time we couldn’t even use what we paid for. When I brought this up afterward, I was told I wouldn’t get any compensation because I didn’t report it prior the event, which is ridiculous. I’ve rented many venues before and have never been blamed for power issues. Another reasoning I wouldn't get my deposit back was them stating the tables, floor and kitchen was not cleaned and trash left inside the building.. First of all every table we used table covers so how is that dirty, my husband was given a broom and swept throughout, yes maybe a few crumbs or so but we have never been faulted at any other establishments over that because the event hall should still be doing their own cleaning after parties, unless you're telling me they expect every renter to spot clean and they have no one even deep cleaning after events.. We also hired workers from a catering and they cleaned the kitchen spotless, that I even checked myself as well as the whole building for trash and nothing was left behind. Expecting renters to leave the place spotless to that level, yet still keeping the deposit, feels like an excuse. The staff member working our event was just plain rude throughout our whole event. She even was giving us a 5 minute warning, which I have NEVER experienced in renting anywhere, (and I rent halls at least 2-3 times a year) have never been treated like that. I wish I could've kept this place in rotation to host events, but after the disaster and how we were treated I will not be returning nor recommending this place to anyone. I had a few family members wanting to book this hall but I informed them of these issues and they will not be renting here either. Overall, between the cold hall, power issues, rude staff, and losing my deposit over claims that aren’t accurate, I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.
