Powered by GoogleA fantastic camp to learn about missions and the many ways we can be a part of sharing the gospel to people around the world. The facilities are great, the staff is awesome, the food is amazing, and most importantly, the education you will take away is Bible-centered and eye-opening. If you are a leader of a youth group, you should seriously look into this as an option for a summer experience!
This is an amazing place. I think anyone interested in Missions or supporting missionaries or anyone who wants to know more about unreached people groups should come to Wayumi. The staff here are amazing and the courses are put on expertly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
INCREDIBLE! You need to go here. They have such a variety of program options from weekend retreats to week-long classes. Go with your family to have the most amazing experience learning the what and why of tribal missions. Take a middle school, high school. or college group to understand what the Bible says about missions and how it is practically lived out. The staff is incredible and the teachers have all been involved in successfully planting a thriving church in a tribal group. Wayumi is certainly the best choice if you're trying to decide what to do with your holiday or a stop in your summer vacation. My wife and I did a week-long class when we were in Ethnos360 Bible Institute, which was life-changing and eye-opening. We went again with family to facilitate them having a similar experience. It was well worth it and you are well taken care of. It is inexpensive and very very fun!
An awesome place to study God's word and go to summer camp. The missionaries that work there are extremely wise and loving. They care about you so much while you are there. The living areas are really nice felt like I was in a nice hotel. Also if you are thinking on going into missions in your life than go here for the wayumi course to learn and be extremely encouraged to fulfill what God has directed us to do.
A few years ago I was able to spend some time here at the conference center and interview the staff. They have a true heart for missions and for inspiring the next generation to carry out the missionary call. Their facility is gorgeous, with plenty of fields and hills. The greatest secret is the tribal village they have, where students can experience what it's like to step foot in a place where no one understands your language or culture. If you are a church leader, you should consider bringing your group to Wayumi for a day, weekend, or week-long event.
