Powered by GoogleYeah I’m a little biased because it’s my family’s club, but they have no clue I’m writing this. As someone who grew up on these courts with the community of people of all ages who play here, it’s truly impacted my life in the best ways possible: As a kid I learned how to be social with people of all ages and backgrounds. Tennis gave me a way to explore new places when traveling to tournaments, and my best friends today are those I met from around the country and at Englewood. From a tennis standpoint, my dad/owner (Bob) has always been my coach since day 1 and has developed me to be able to have this opportunity at playing Division 1 tennis. I can honestly say that he’s one of the few coaches in the area who would never put his son’s progress over another student of his (I’m not complaining) but truly he cares about all of his students and has such a passion and understanding for the game which gets slightly annoying at home but I love it. Tony has also been there for me along the way and is a phenomenal person and coach along with Steve who recently began coaching here back in 2018. All in all it’s a great team of coaches and staff who anyone you ask will speak highly of. Anyways, for anyone looking to play here whether it be a junior looking for coaching, someone looking to take privates, or just someone looking to play as a guest, there are countless options for you and you will feel at home instantly.
Great instructors who take time to teach the kids the right way to play tennis.
Excellent tennis club with flexible membership options for visitors.
A great club. As a snow bird I only get to play a few weeks a year. Bob is always accommodating as well as the members.
This is a great little tennis club. No fine dining or golf here, just great tennis. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, a senior or a junior, you will love this family oriented facility. Owners Bob and Sue Zipay have incredible tennis knowledge, and more importantly, they're just great people. I always knew my kids were in good hands when they "hung out" at the Club. There really isn't any other place around that's like it. If you enjoy tennis I promise you will like it there!
