Engle Lane Theatre in Streator is the home stage of Community Players of Streator, Inc., a community theater founded in 1958 that produces six shows a year in a 247-seat house. Its 2026 season includes one youth musical production, Disney's Frozen Jr., performed by young people from the Illinois Valley, alongside five adult productions. The organization's own site lists auditions, an education page and a scholarship application, but no summer camp program.

Powered by GoogleI felt so bad for anyone who had to use the restrooms upon the day I saw dance performances. The water to every bathroom facility was not turned on. People were using them anyway, even though they wouldn't flush. It was disgusting, not to mention so very unsanitary. There were at least 200 people there and the performers. Those kids deserved better. They all work so hard and love what they do. I cant believe the people in charge opened that venue like that. Ridiculous.
Small place but we love going to plays and musicals here!
This is a real treasure in our community! I drive from Princeton and have for years! Community theater is so important for all of us! I highly recommend! You will never be disappointed in any production!
Amazing Theater Group, more than 5 stars. Seen Young Frankenstein & Chicago. Chicago was off the chain so good. The cast was perfect and even better was having the live band. Would love them to do that again or to see them do some more burlesque or 1920 40s musicals, cabaret, moulin rouge. Such a talented group of people and so reasonable for the shows. Thank you for all that you guys do!!!
Saw a musical play last night at Eagle Lane Theatre. It's a very nice place to go see musical play ❤️ I go again to see plays there. The staff was very friendly.
