Encore Performing Arts Studio

Not a great experience, the summer camps especially are absolutely ridiculously priced for my daughter to come home and tell me she doesn’t want to do it anymore after day 1 because it was pure chaos. So I call and I was informed it was a group of 32 kids with one actual teacher and one ‘helper’. Mind you these ‘helpers’ are children 8-12yrs old. Now my daughter is in a kindergarten dance class where the door is shut every class so you can never see what they’re doing. It’s been like this for years if they really cared about the parents they 1000% could add glass to the door(s) and tint it to where it does not distract the kids. As someone who’s been coming here for 3+ years, would not recommend. Editing my review because I was told over the summer there was indeed an art class with 32 kids and there was one staff member and 2 helpers not the previous one I had mentioned. Upon pickup I only saw one but there were mentioned to be two. Two children put in a position they shouldn’t be asked to be in. If my daughter was so overwhelmed with the chaos and she did not want to return to the camp telling me it would be more fun to do art at home after I had just spent almost $200 on the camp, obviously the child helpers are not the best idea when dealing with child care. That’s the whole point. These camps should be fun and easy to do so if they weren’t so desperate for the financial. Also if you put the glass at the top of the door instead of the bottom little siblings would not be able to reach the glass to bang on it and could also easily be tinted to not bother the dancers, once again it’s not that hard to go out of your way to do something for families when they’re in your best interest.

All three of our children are enrolled (dance, homeschool arts and piano), and my wife taught elementary several dance classes—so we know the ins and outs! We are continually impressed by the wide variety of programs that allow every student to find their passion, as well as the studio’s strong focus on fundamentals that build genuine skill and confidence. The end-of-year recital is the highlight for everyone; it’s a truly professional, high-quality production that beautifully showcases the students' hard work. Encore is more than just a dance studio for us; it’s a thriving community that has become a second home. We highly recommend it.

Encore has made the transition to this military station so much fun for our family. My kids are in a variety of classes and love all their teachers! The music teachers are super accommodating for scheduling and make up lessons if we need it. Even our 2 year old looks forward to dropping brother and sister off at Encore so he can say hi to Ms Tina in the foyer and play with the blocks. I highly recommend Encore for music, ballet, acro, and the Homeschool Art Immersion class.

We have had great experiences here with our children! My children have loved all of the different classes and camps and age groups that are offered. The staff is great at making them feel welcome and comfortable in each class. My oldest wants to know if she can attend the summer camps every day haha! The recital was one of the highlights of our year with all of the hard work from the kids and staff! Thank you!
