Kathy has done an absolutely wonderful job making this place shine. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared for. Every single staff member has been incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, which truly makes the experience stand out. It’s clear that a lot of pride and heart go into creating such a positive environment here. Honestly, when I go back to work, this is the kind of place I would love to be a part of ❤️

This is our second year hosting a retreat for young adults and the facility is amazing! The atmosphere and the peace away from the city craziness is perfect for a recharge.

I recently stayed at Emmanuel Pines Camp & Retreat Center and had a wonderful experience. It is a clean, well-maintained facility and a perfect environment to connect with God, engage in self-reflection, and build lasting memories with family. The views are beautiful and the entire atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. The Highlights: Tall-Friendly Accommodations: As someone who is 6’1.5”, I often worry about camp beds, but the beds in the Skipworth cabin were actually long enough for me! Cabin Amenities: The lighting in Skipworth was great, and I was especially impressed by the water temperature—it gets very hot, which was much appreciated. Wonderful Staff: The staff here are very kind. A personal highlight was singing in the cafeteria; the staff were gracious enough to let us sing, which made for a very special memory. Food & Atmosphere: They offer decent vegetarian options, which was a plus. I also appreciated that quiet hours don’t start until 10:00 PM, allowing for a bit more social time in the evenings. One Suggestion for Improvement: On the first night, the dining instructions were given to us while we were standing outside. It was freezing! It would be much better if these orientations were held indoors, or if the facility could provide outdoor heaters for that area. Overall, this is a lovely place and I would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refreshing retreat!

Our church family retreat was there this past weekend and I must say we had the most amazing time at this camp. The campground is so beautiful, very clean, & the staff were more than helpful to us. The beds are comfortable, the food was much better than we thought it would be for camp food lol, and the meeting spaces we used provided such a great intimate atmosphere for us to have morning prayer and breakout sessions. We used the gymnasium for our games & for our main worship services and it was set up perfectly for our group. This was our church’s very first retreat and we are looking forward to making this an annual family retreat using Emanuel Pines as our spot every year. We were simply blown away, the presence of God is definitely there! Pastor Bob, Cindy & Kathy both are so warm and inviting I thank them for making our first retreat a huge success.
