We checked the reviews for local art classes and this was the most expensive by far but based on the information available on the website it seemed like a valuable investment in our 16 year old son. We signed him up after reviewing the different camps offered and were excited to start. On day one he interacted with excellent instructors, professional and kind. Sadly, his art skill level exceeded the course he was in and he was in a class with middle schoolers not high schoolers and when we realized that we asked to have access to a class that better suited his skill and age level. We were directed to the “no refunds “ disclaimer and my 16 year old had to remain in a class full of students in middle school reviewing skills he’d already learned for $500 for the week. My concern is that the program was clearly less interested in offering value then developing their clients art skills. I am disappointed that they were unwilling to make this reasonable adjustment and strongly suggest a less expensive and possibly more relevant option for you art students at the Orlando Museum of Art.

We LOVE Elite Animation Academy! Our son is preparing to start his third course, and we could not be happier with the experience. The virtual option has been amazing for our family — classes are only 2 hours a week, run for about 9–10 weeks, and having the same instructor for the entire course really helps build connection and consistency. The instructors have been incredible and genuinely engaging. They connect with students through shared interests and make learning exciting. During the Manga/Anime course with Sophia, our son loved talking with her about favorite manga and anime series while learning so much creatively. He was constantly excited after class. His Foundational 1 course with Woody is wrapping up now, and within just a few weeks he was already asking us to enroll him in Foundational 2. After his very first session with Woody, he came downstairs so excited to tell us all about Woody’s resume and experience. It immediately inspired and motivated him. Woody is funny and our son just has a good time working with him. We already thought our son was talented going into these courses, but we’ve been completely blown away by the growth we’ve seen — not just in his skills, but in his confidence, enthusiasm, and desire to keep improving. Also, Todd has been fantastic throughout the enrollment process — incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. We highly recommend Elite Animation Academy!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Elite Animation Academy! My son took online classes from across the country while working on his college portfolio and eventually got into the school of his dreams for animation! Both Woody Woodman and Tom Thorspecken are A++ instructors with incredible talent and unbelievable resumes in the industry! They both really know how to connect with teens and provided fun and engaging lessons (which can sometimes be hard online). My son's skill level grew exponentially while working with Elite Animation Academy and I cannot recommend their online classes enough! We are so glad to have found them in our journey to college and will be forever grateful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My daughter Alessandra has taken the portfolio preparation course with Woody Woodman. It has been an amazing creative journey and now that we have the results we are very happy we decided to do it with Elite Animation Academy. The teacher has given feedback after every work for improvement and even though we took the class online he was able to manage all the techniques, corrections and variety of media use almost as if it was an in person class. We are very glad we found Elite Animation Academy after a long time looking for something serious for our 9 years old daughter that loves to draw. When we came across the Academy by googling I saw the best way for her to improve. Immediately enrolled her and now she takes classes online and we couldn’t be happier. The director of the program Todd West recommended to start with Foundational Drawing and that is what we did. Excellent assistance during enrollment process and we loved our teacher Mr. Woodman since day one. She is improving and loving the online classes so much. I highly recommend this Academy.
