There was a very short hall dedicated to the fascinating life of Hatold Edgerton. A few of the exhibits were not functional. I question the hygiene standards. Mostly designed for teens and younger.

Although the center has been around for awhile and has been shown lots of love by the community, it remains extremely relevant and has a ton of stations for the kids to explore, learn and play. Some of the stations in the back area weren't working as designed but the kids were still able to learn from them before moving on to the next station. The center is for all ages, from the smallest of toddlers to the oldest of adults! The staff was helpful when needed for assistance but pretty much invisible if not and not overly friendly when interacting with them. Beware of the very aggressive male iguana in the front area, it literally scared our 3 year old into tears and then we couldn't get her redirected to enjoy the center, she was too fearful of him escaping his enclosure and was stuck to our legs. Overall, great experience and highly recommend!

I thought it was a bit pricey. We were planning on spending a few hours here. A few things were broken. There was a bunch of school field trip groups so we ended up only staying 90 mins. The kids had fun and it was worth the 80 min drive for us. Hopefully next time the miniature golf will be open. EDIT: I have contacted the center at their request, they have given our family a gift card to come back again and give it another shot.

I have been able to visit EEC as a visitor and now for a field trip. I have to say that the field trip was my favorite experience. There were a couple of presentations by their "mad scientists" and I was really impressed with how they paced everything, got kids involved, and showed genuine enthusiasm for science! I also learned more this time around! I will add too that I am always impressed with the quality of the equipment they have. A lot of places like that seem to just get trashed. You go through and half of the things are broken or don't work at all. This has not been the case here. They seem to take very good care of everything and keep it working. They're all so nice too. Seriously a real gem. If you haven't been GO !!

We spent the entire day at the center, because we were determined to experience everything. I appreciated the fact we could look at their calendar online and schedule our visit around their scheduled school field trips. Most things are interactive and all the activities are labeled and explain what it is, how to use it, and the science behind it. My 11 and 12 year old spent 7 hours there and still didn't want to leave. We scheduled our visit during the week so it wasn't busy, and the simulators were also available, at no extra charge, however you're only allowed to do the simulators once, and an employee does help you with those. The only simulator that has an extra charge, that we found, is the "wind tunnel". The employees that were working when we were there were fabulous and really helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. It doesn't seem like a very big place from the outside, but there is so many things to do, explore, and learn inside. We packed a lunch since we planned on being there all day, and sat outside at their picnic tables to eat, and then went back inside and explored some more. My kids had such a great time, we will probably be back next year. It cost $60 for four of us. I did add a few photos to this post, however it doesn't even show a fraction of what the center has to offer.
