The Edge Sports Center runs a summer hockey development program of camps and clinics at its Bedford rink complex. The flagship Edge Hockey Clinic is a five-day full-day camp (July 6-10, 2026, 8:00am-4:00pm, $725) with about 3.5 hours of on-ice instruction per day plus strength and conditioning, daily field games and a Friday tournament, with players split into four teams. Shorter options include Power Skating for ages 7-10 and 11-14, Skating and Skills and Shooting and Scoring (four days, 1:00pm-4:00pm, $425 each), an Advanced Defense clinic for accomplished defensemen that requires recommendations, and a Checking Clinic open to boys and girls. The 115,000-square-foot facility has two ice rinks, outdoor turf fields and an athlete training center; all clinics comply with MDPH regulations and are licensed by the Board of Health.

Great turf field overall, but the left side needs better landscaping maintenance. The bushes and trees are overgrown, and during games the ball frequently ends up in there. It’s difficult to retrieve balls because the area is hard to navigate, and we’ve noticed bugs, ticks, and mosquitoes in the bushes. Our league has also lost many soccer balls in that area throughout the season. It would really help if the area could either be trimmed back regularly or if ball-stop nets could be installed to prevent balls from reaching the bushes. Thank you for your consideration and for maintaining the facility.

Fun and friendly location able to set up for any sporting events on the open field or enclosed.

Two sheets of ice with some soccer fields. We were there for a hockey tournament and the ice is soft because it doesn’t get cold enough on the lower rink. Might be a little better on the upper rink. You can view the lower rink from the lobby glass area, which isn’t great from one end. If you go down to the stands, the viewing isn’t much better. Parking is a real problem here in the front, but sometimes you can get lucky using the back door, so go around the building.

Place is super nice, but staffs were very unprofessional. 3/04 (Sat): Me and my friends went to the facility to play soccer through JustPlay app. Justplay app is a company that books the facility for us. The problem is, the Edge Sports Center (the field) was shutting down after 8pm unusually (I came here before and it wasn't). I think there were Field Hockey Tournament all day long, so staff needed to go home. We had to leave the facility regardless of our situation. First, I believed it was our JustPlay App Company's fault - not double checking the schedule. However, there were other 2 different groups scheduled for the field as well! (They didn't book through the JustPlay App). In other words, I do believe 99% there was an issue in this field management at Edge Sports Center. We tried to solve it by asking the staff if we could stay longer, but staff had to go home. Let me know if I am wrong, but I wasted my time more than 3 hrs, so I give 1 star to this facility's management team.

Always a pleasure coming here each February for quidditch. Wish there was a closure between the bubble and the bathroom cause you just get blasted with cold air going in and out.
