Powered by GoogleHad to pay 200 just to play basketball and go to the gym . Unbelievable!! It should be a public area for the shore to enjoy!!
Too many people just sitting on the weight machines playing with their phones. We are seriously considering quitting. Sad.
people just sitting on machines not working out Kids running around unsupervised everywhere Not much of a gym . I think it's mainly an afterschool program. Also they wanted to charge me to use a locker. that's a first on the shore
Feels more like an after school program then a gym. To many unsupervised kids charging around. Maintenance worker is constantly cleaning fighting up hill battle. Desk is nice, mgmt is nice. Something is off. Is it a gym or after school program? They charge gym prices. I don't know if that is fair to all the members.
It's not biggest YMCA facility. But they make good use of the space have have quite a bit to offer. The locker rooms are generally pretty clean, and they have a fairly nice pool, albeit not that deep. That being said, staff is friendly, dedicated, and willing to help at a moment's notice. Membership fees can be pretty high, but they do offer a kind of sliding scale fee as long as you qualify. They have a nice gymnasium for the size of the place and they also offer yoga classes, and a few other choices most places on the shore do not have. They also have a daycare facility for patrons who may have little ones but may want to work out or use the hot tub. The kind ladies working in the daycare will watch your child for up to an hour at a time, so long as you are on-site. I would highly recommend stopping in and asking any questions you may have determine whether or not this would be a fit for your lifestyle. If so, they're worth a go.
