Kicked a girl off team for attending her once in a lifetime prom! Not the gym for you if you also want to let your daughter make school memories!!

We’ve been part of the East Coast Cheer and Tumble family for 9 years, and I truly can’t say enough good things about this gym. My daughter has grown so much—not just in her cheer skills, but in her confidence, discipline, and love for the sport. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they truly care about each athlete they work with, and that kind of dedication makes all the difference. My daughter absolutely loves being part of this program, and as a parent, there’s nothing better than watching her thrive in a place where she feels challenged, supported, and valued. If you’re looking for a cheer program in the Abingdon area, I highly recommend East Coast Cheer and Tumble. It has been such a blessing to our family over the years.

I love that the coaches make the athletes feel at home, safe and always encourage them. It’s such an amazing feeling knowing your athlete will continue growing their skills and that the coaches are always helping them grow and perfect any skills they currently have or they are trying to gain.

I was severely left out by girls on the team because I was "different" and didn't like the popular things. For example "Stanley's", "Lululemon", ect... I've been needing to post this for awhile but last year was my last year after an incident at a competition. This girl (I won't name) was barking at people in Richmond. There was an oddities convention going on at the same time across the convention center. I told her she should stop. She didn't and it really upset me because I get barked at rather often. My mom talked to the couches and they told me I shouldn't react that way in uniform because I'm representing their gym. They claimed they talked to her but the month of or after they gave her cheerleader of the month or all star something like that.... Keep in mind this has been going on for awhile and that just felt like it was the last of it. They have favorites and treat people who stick out horribly. I refuse to support them anymore due to how much emotional trauma this caused me (I was 11-12 when this happened....)

Our daughter has been thriving in the team a few years now. She always leaves practice prepared to challenge herself and determined to do more and better each day. Our home looks like a home gymnasium dedicated to stunting lol thank you for putting confidence in our girl and letting her spunkiness shine:)
