East Boulder Community Center
Private
The East Boulder Community Center is a City of Boulder Parks & Recreation facility serving children, teens and adults, and one of the sites in the city's youth camp lineup. The city publishes a summer camp guide covering its programs, but the material reviewed does not state which camps meet here, their age ranges, session lengths or daily hours.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact East Boulder Community Center directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleI walked to the center on Saturday, 3 Jan, 2026. It was my first time there after receiving my pass from Boulder Parks & Rec. I only wanted to check the validity of my pass. It just happened to be just before 4:00 pm. As I approached the door, a young woman inside rushed up and locked the door right in my face, not looking up to even make eye contact, although I was clearly just on the other side of the glass. / I stepped to the next doors to the right, as I simply wanted to ask how I could validate my pass... But she continued to simply ignore me and (although she could clearly see me) just rushed to lock all the doors in a row. Seriously? How difficult would it have been for this twit to give a little "sorry... we are closing" gesture? But instead, she just totally ignored me, turning and walking away, as if I didn't exist. That did NOT give me a warm and fuzzy first impression of the staff.
It’s a great facility with excellent amenities with a welcoming and professional staff.
My Daugther loves ❤️ it here! I love the Longmont pool's kid area the most though with the mini lazy river, yet this location is so close to home 🏡 I still injoy it. The hot 🔥 tub here is fantastic too!! One of the bigger ones I've found outside of going to an actual hot springs elsewhere up in the mountains 🏔 The Energy was quite nice on this day, Higher Frequency then the South location but both are good 👍 It's a great place to warm up in the winter too if outdoor snowy ❄️ sports isn't your thing.
Nice facility in general, great indoor pool, friendly and helpful staff. The downside is the cardio and weight area is small with very limited equipment. If you're more interested in the pool or tennis, then this should be a good fit for you. Entrance fees for both residents and non-residents are fairly reasonable.
Love this place and my cell phone pix don’t do justice to the space and light. Took an excellent Zumba class here with Lydia. I was especially impressed in the way she carefully adjusted that energetic dance form to a slightly older group of women yet it was still super rigorous and fun. Thank you!
