Powered by GoogleBest camp in the whole world, 7 years in and I'm not tired of any of it. Fun events, cool weekly themes, and all the good things. This is where a kid can be a kid not Chuck. E Cheese, for those who know. I'm Jackson hart
Our boys (7&9) had an absolutely fantastic time at ELC this summer! Both the day camp and the sleep-away camp experiences exceeded all our expectations. We did day camp last year and they begged for Night Owls this year! From the first day, the camp’s welcoming and inclusive atmosphere put everyone at ease. The counselors were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and highly skilled. They genuinely cared about each camper, ensuring everyone felt included and had a blast. The day camp was filled with exciting activities that kept our boys engaged and active. They loved the variety, from sports and arts and crafts to cooking, kayaking, science experiments….endless variety of activities! Every day was a new adventure, and they came home with stories and new skills to share. Night Owls, their “sleep out” Monday-Friday program was our best family adventure to date. We ALL grew! As parents, we were impressed by the camp’s organization, safety measures, and communication. We always felt informed and reassured that our boys were in the best hands. ELC provided our boys with two unforgettable summers filled with joy, growth, and friendships. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend it to any family looking for an exceptional camp!
Third year I sign up my son. Night works program. Love the crew and program. My son said he didn’t miss us at all. And when he came home for weekend he was counting days to go back to camp.
This was our first year sending our son over to eagles landing. We were Little nervous at first and I'm sure that's the normal feeling with any parents sending their child off to a new camp. We signed him up for four weeks not knowing what to expect or how he would act. He absolutely loved it he would come home and tell me all the fun things they did actually trying new foods that I couldn't get him to try at home. All the girls were great with him they showed him love they encouraged him they build him up when he didn't want to try new things. Our overall experience was phenomenal and couldn't be happier.
Worse camp ever! Stay away. The owner IS super condescending, money hungry, and (according to a senior staffer I spoke with) pays very little attention to what goes on within his camp from staffing to parental grievances. If you are a newcomer prepare treated with very little regard. It's very much so a clicky environment. The junior counselors that look after the young preschoolers are very immature and do little to help ease the fears or anxieties of the children they care for. If your child needs to go to the bathroom they are constantly told no. If your child is crying because they miss home they are scolded. After learning that these teenagers are severely underpaid, earning between $2-5/hr, and completely undertrained, there's really no surprise if they have little incentive to do more than the bare minimum. It was a total waste of my nearly $500/week (you read that correctly) to pay for my child's ill treatment. A Live and learn expensive lesson.
