Nice quiet campgrounds for scouts! We stayed in "The Hole" and it was great on a windy day (sheltered from wind and sun). Nearby waterfall and stream was nice. Facilities were clean and almost all open areas/trails were mowed and easy to use.

Enjoyed this BSA camp. Nicely maintained grounds. I didn't see any bathroom facilities but many portapotties available. Rifle range, storm shelters and a wonderful array of trees, water, hiking, etc.

Neat weekend camping destination for Scouts. The varied terrain keeps Scouts interested in exploring the camp. Good site for short nature hikes (Tenderfoot thru First Class requirements) and for astronomy, environmental science, fishing, orienteering, geology, SAR, and wilderness survival merit badges. Also a good site for a Wilderness First Aid course. The pavilion is large and good for inclement weather activities. The training lodge is pretty dated, but good enough for most purposes (it would benefit from a service project or two...). Fishing in Turtle Creek is pretty good in the spring and early fall (mainly perch and crappie).

Owned by the BSA this camp straddles Turtle Creek in Western Oklahoma. It presents a surprising array of woods, water, and wildlife. Night time skys provide a thrilling view of the stars with a background of thrilling wild animal calls echoing through the woods. Reservations made through the Last Frontier Council office located in Oklahoma City.
