The Dorothy Gerber Strings Program is the strings music education program of the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) in Petoskey, serving students ages 4 to 18 with lessons, school classes and a youth orchestra. Its summer camps are the Summertime Strings Festival, a week of music plus activities like mini-golf running July 13-17 from 9:00am to 12:30pm for $90, and the Cummings Quartet Chamber Music Camp, a day camp July 6-10 from 12:00pm to 4:30pm at St. Mary's School for violin, viola, cello and bass students past the intermediate level, taught by the program's professional quartet. The program also offers private lessons June 22-August 8 and a Suzuki Family Day on August 1. Scholarship assistance is available so any interested student can take part.

Powered by GoogleMy daughter has been a violin student here for almost a year now. She has taken private and after school lessons and she absolutely loves it. Dr. Reimer is an amazing teacher and she always looks forward to the next lesson.
