My son will be returning as an LIT for his 9th summer at CDL this year. That alone says all you need to know. It's a beautiful place that has been a huge part of my son's faith formation... to see the Lord at work in the relationships, surrounding nature, and worship services next to the water has been way more effective and real for him than sitting in church every Sunday. The bonds formed with counselors who also love Jesus and spend time really talking to the kids about anything and everything have been so important. Finally, Mrs. Moe's fried chicken has to be the best camp food in the country. CDL has a small fortune of our money at this point, and I cannot think of anything I would rather have spent it on. Worth every last dime and then some. Thank you to Kate Metts (we will miss you!) and her crew for 8 amazing years so far.

my second visit to camp don lee. Breathtaking vistas. Camp don lee is a peaceful, serene place. Fantastic staff, is so good with kids. Cabins are cozy and basic. The food is okay. The cellphone reception is good. There are several fun activities for the kids. I highly recommend it.

I have brought a group of campers here for the last three years, and every time I am blown away by the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the camp, and the care all of the counselors take with the students. The sailing staff really knows what they are doing, and they make sure the students are not only safe but have a great time. The food was great! The leaders accommodated the tricky food allergies in our group, and were wonderful to work with at every turn. I highly recommend Camp Don Lee!
