I’ve been going to the Y for years with my family. Starting in 2016 and never had any problems. I’ve done plenty of sports through the Y and loved it. I’ve watched the Y grow into this great place. With all the new improvements it’s been amazing! The staff are very supportive and nice and willing to help anyone with any questions they have. The Y also offers scholarships to help people get a discount on their membership! I would recommend going in and seeing for yourself what the Y has to offer.

Michelle may give off a cheerful vibe to those she favors, but favoritism isn’t leadership. It’s not hard to smile at regulars or those who praise her, but the true test of professionalism is how one treats everyone, especially those with concerns, questions, or different perspectives. Unfortunately, in my experience, Michelle has consistently demonstrated a dismissive, condescending, and at times outright rude attitude. Her tone and lack of accountability do not reflect the standards expected from someone in her position as director. While it’s great that some people have had positive experiences at the Dodge City YMCA, especially with Michelle, I find it necessary to speak honestly. It’s frustrating to see glowing reviews that gloss over these issues and brush aside valid complaints by mocking others as people who “barely lift.” This kind of comment alone speaks volumes about the lack of maturity and respect one has towards others. The YMCA stands for inclusion, community, and support. Let’s hope the current leadership eventually reflects those values, not just for the favored few, but for everyone who walks through those doors.

This is an amazing place to go workout at. From the equipment to the environment to even the staff. Michelle was helping me improve my form on rear delt lateral side raises and oh my the tip she gave me changed my life forever!! Not to mention she was just so friendly the entire time and has always been a good friend of mine every time I go there to lift. They have everything you need from free weights to pools. Man oh man yall should really come here. Idk why this one person said Michelle was rude they def don’t know what they’re talking bout they prolly barely lift lol.

The Dodge City YMCA is an amazing place for fitness, family, and community. The facility is always clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and there are so many programs for all ages. What really sets this YMCA apart, though, is the staff—especially Michelle. She goes above and beyond every single day. Her energy is unmatched, and she truly cares about the people who walk through the door. Whether it’s helping someone get started on their fitness journey or just offering a friendly smile, Michelle makes the Y feel like home. Dodge City is lucky to have her and a YMCA this committed to making a difference.

Michelle is a terrible disrespectful lady who I’ve seen one to many times disrespect her staff infront of people. Some Staff has attitude or no knowledge to what they are speaking about and WOULD NOT recommend going to this facility for a membership or even to get a day pass.
