Powered by GoogleThis is a very nice place to take your kid for a field day. We enjoyed the park, the museum, as well as the 3d theater. It's a great place to hang out with kids. The American War History Museum is a great attraction here. Do not forget to check the vintage car collection show as well as the outside of old train station. The outside vintage village is well-maintained and great to walk through while enjoying the beautiful nature.
Discovery Park was an incredible experience! My boys and I visited recently, and spent the day and had an amazing time! Tons of interactive exhibits, fun and interesting! The grill served a fantastic lunch too! If you're looking for a day trip for your family, this is the place to go!
It's a great park, with a 3 story exhibit... outside displays with a train depot...and has walking paths .. 3 stars because they need all displays to be time stamped dated( They have many, many items and merchandise from past years, but many are not dated. You don't know when or where)... Also they need more visual audio interactive displays besides for little kids... They have dinosaur exhibits and such but no dates. No description audio just.... Just displayed with no info... It was winter time but you can tell outside gardens need to be more interesting.... With that being said, it's worth the stop but you spend 30 bucks to get in and it is a nice place but they need to upscale just a tad.
We always try to stop into the Discovery Park when we come into town. This was our first time making it in for Christmas & making it in for the light show! We chose to drive thru (it was a bit cooler than we're used to lately). We did have to wait at the entrance for about 20 minutes to wait for a glitch with the lights. But it was still worth it. The employees were very thorough with explaining why we all had to wait & very caring about our time. We will be back again one day for the lights again! & look forward to the museum & exhibits again!
This place is Amazing!!!! We took our 3 year old and he had an Awesome time!! We were there 4 hours and could have stayed longer! This is a place you should visit if driving through!! Fun for all ages!!
