The Discovery Center is the City of Ocala's children's science center at Tuscawilla Park, offering hands-on STEAM summer camps such as LEGO Robotics and STEAM Tots. Programs use interactive, play-based activities to introduce science, technology, engineering, art, and math to young learners.

Powered by GoogleFun place for kids but limited hours. Live animals, even an axilotyl. Hands on exhibits and climbing fun as well as educational. Great staff with tons of information to share. Classes with Legos and other fun adventures. Photos are from the Lego Date Night with my daughter. Great fun for her b'day.
Great "Alma's Way" exhibit! Fun hands on exhibits (science, animals, arts and crafts). Spent about 2 hours with my 8 year old. There's a park right next door.
Plenty of activities and things to do for the grandkids. They routinely change the upstairs play area with different themes throughout the year. Their Lego classes are awesome. Our grandkids had never really done much with Legos, but very much enjoyed the class and learned a lot in the process. It's quite a bargain if you buy a family pass. The staff are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
So many wonderful activities, was a very nice experience for my 9 year old grandson. The staff are very patient. It allowed ample time for questions and exploration for all who attended. The facility was neat and clean and pretty well maintained.
Very fun and interactive for the whole family! My 8yr old and 19m old both enjoyed it and ran around exploring. Expect be here for at least an hour. They have some cool reptiles and even an axolotl! Be sure to check out each room on the bottom floor, there’s stuff to do and look at in each one! The top floor is a wide open space with so much to do! I think they change up their educational theme so check out their website before going! We went on a weekend and it was kinda busy but still tons of room to explore and not crowded.
