This dance school is truly a special place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for dance. The instructors create an environment where students feel encouraged, confident, and excited to learn. The instruction is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every dancer is treated with care and respect. The staff does a great job balancing strong technique, creativity, discipline, and fun. Whether a student is just starting out or has been dancing for years, they are given the support and guidance they need to grow. The performances are beautifully organized, and it is clear how much effort and heart goes into everything they do. I highly recommend this school to any family looking for a positive, inspiring, and high-quality dance experience.

I joined the DSOD family at age 6 and truly grew up in the studio before returning later as a staff member. There isn’t a more welcoming or loving environment. Each staff member not only ensures your child enjoys every day, but also supports their growth in every lesson. There truly is no place like DSOD.

If I could give it negative stars I would. My child started dancing there this year and not by my choice, but by her other parent's choice. The parents are very clickish (like high school). The dances were not good and every dance was just a repeat of the same steps not to mention no one hardly knew what they were doing and it looked like pure chaos. The acro classes were too large and too many kids on stage at the recital to where I know my child got hit because there wasn't enough space. I have heard Diane yell at my child for no reason, not to mention when she got upset not one of the 20 teachers cared to check on my kid. The recital people were up and down the whole time that you couldn't enjoy the dance that was on stage, even though they were not good, not on tempo, every kid doing different stuff. If you have been in class since August, the dances should be cleaned and perfected before the recital, but required extra weekend practices to help for the recital it didn't help anything. There is no training or technique classes and ballet is absolutely horrible and doesn't even look like ballet. My child has not gained any knew steps or gotten better with turns or leaps in jazz, no one has spent time to work with the kids on their growth as a dancer and with the number of teachers they have there should be plenty to assist, but some of the classes should be smaller to better assist the kids in learning and getting better.

We have loved being a part of Dianne's School of Dance. When we joined the flock we had no idea how much fun we would have. I have 4 girls and they all dance with Dianne, Lacey and their amazing staff! Everyone is caring and truly makes you feel like family. I also appreciate that the dances and costumes are all choreographed to be age appropriate. I love that they provide curriculum of what will be taught to the parents and that they truly teach each kid to their potential. My kids have learned multiple dancing styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, musical theater, clogging, acrobatics, and a mix of lyrical and hip hop with their FUZE class. Throughout the dance year, they have special days like O'Hana day (Family Day), Frozen Week, Flock - O - Ween (Halloween), Christmas Celebrations, and so many more little extras that just add that little something extra for the kids dress up for or just enjoy a special day with their dance friends. If you're looking for an amazing dance experience that isn't going to treat you like just another number, Dianne's School of Dance will welcome you into their flock with open arms and treat you like family.
