Desert Palms Equestrian Center in Cave Creek runs a coed horseback-riding day camp where kids ride twice daily and learn grooming, saddling, bridling, and horse care and safety. Days also include a cooling-off swim and arts and crafts, with horses matched to each rider's ability from beginner to advanced. The camp runs Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
