This place is awful. They promote bullying. My daughter was being made fun of by other peers in class and instructors did nothing. They speak rudely to the children. They promote they work with special needs children but kick them out shortly after with no warning or notice. They are horrible at returning calls.

My child has been attending Define Yourself for 2 months now (San Tan Location) and so far everything is going well. She is in the Little Flippers class and loves every minute of it. The coaches are amazing and demonstrate care, discipline and patience with the kids. They will correct your child performance (even the little ones) and use encouraging words to help them stay focused. The owner, Jenna will pop in and actually interact with the children. She’s a lot of fun and will definitely keep your child engaged. Friday nights can be a little hectic and the class sizes are larger compared to a Wednesday night. My only suggestion is for the Little Flippers to have two coaches when there are more than 6 kids.

My daughter had tried so many sports and just couldn't find that one she really liked. I came across Define Yourself and learned the first lesson is free, we'll see if she likes it. She goes twice a week and is on her 4th month now. Each day she has practice the excitement is still there. She's ready to go! I love how everyone works together. They all celebrate together, as one big family. Whether it's because one has perfected a new move or the cheer did their routine flawlessly or ones birthday! Just a joy to watch how well everyone clicks and works together! Nothing but positivity in that gym!!! No holding back! If they believe your child is ready to advance to the next class, the coach will set up an evaluation. If they have perfected every move in their present class, they will advance them to the next class! They want them to succeed!!!
