Took a glass mosaic class but it involved no organized instruction... a lady was there to cut the glass & other students told us the basics. The activity took about 30 minutes: wiping down a square piece of glass and then selecting precut smaller pieces of glass to arrange on top of it... and that's it. They do the firing some time later, and you come pick it up in a couple weeks. Not too interesting, but I did get access to materials and ended up with a glass mosaic, so I think my expectations were just a little off.

Our team had a fantastic experience with Elise-- db Studio hosted our end-of-the-year celebration, and it was a blast! Since they're conveniently located at Barnard Griffin, we were able to set aside time to both be creative in the studio and enjoy some delicious food and drinks. Very fun experience. Elise does a great job of giving instructions on what to do but then lets the class develop on its own. I went with a group of friends to the ornament class and can’t wait to return for another project!
