Always a great day at the ballpark when your home team takes the win. Great environment. Prices are still steep for a family larger than 2. Being close to spending 100 on food alone for the 4 of us is a bit tedious. So we skipped food and souvenirs this time around. Also need a reloadable debit card kiosk like kings island if you expect it to be total cashless stadium. Gift cards won't cut it. Especially if one loads too much on the card and won't get a refund or able to spend it outside the ballpark.

Home of the Dayton Dragons. Stadium is located in downtown Dayton. Great place to see a game. Not a bad seat anywhere. Prices are very reasonable. Card only stadium. No cash!

Dragon's Win! Well played game. Very exciting. Players were very good for this game. Stadium was very clean. All the food and drinks are very $$$... as expected....

It's a fun and relatively inexpensive way to enjoy some baseball. The facilities are good and the Dragons organization does a great job keeping you entertained between innings. Plenty of surface lot parking nearby for only $10.

Dayton Dragons "Deck the Diamond" Suite Experience Location: Day Air Ballpark, Dayton, OH Group Size: 12 (10 Adults, 2 Children) Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Overall Experience The "Deck the Diamond" event offers a spectacular holiday atmosphere, featuring over 1.1 million lights that transform the entire ballpark into a winter wonderland. It is an excellent destination for families, providing a wide array of activities that keep children entertained throughout the evening. Highlights for the Family Activities & Games: The kids (ages 1.5 and 3) thoroughly enjoyed the Candy Cane games and the ornament-making station. Character Encounters: Meeting Santa and the holiday-themed princesses (Belle and Cinderella) in their winter capes was a major highlight for the 3 year old. Photo Ops: There were plenty of great displays for photos, including a nativity scene and an illuminated carriage. The View: Renting a suite provided a fantastic, elevated view of the entire light show and the synchronized music displays on the field. The Suite & Catering We rented a private suite for $350, which served as a great home base for our large group. The catering cost $700 (including fees and gratuity) and provided a convenient dining experience for the kids and adults alike. The Downside: Early Service Cut-off The most significant drawback was the timing of the hospitality services. Although the event was scheduled until 9:00 PM, the staff removed all food at 8:00 PM. This led to our group feeling obligated to leave early, and we ended up vacating the suite by 8:15–8:30 PM. For a total investment of over $1,000, we expected the amenities to be available for the full duration of our scheduled time. Final Verdict: A beautiful and high-energy holiday event that the kids and family loved. However, be mindful of the early food pull if you are booking a suite, as it may cut your evening shorter than planned.
