Dane G. Hansen Scout Reservation My son recently participated in ATV training at the Dane G. Hansen Scout Reservation, and while the experience at the camp was fantastic, getting there proved to be quite an adventure. We drove from Southeast Oklahoma, which took us over 9 hours, and we finally arrived at 2:30 in the morning. Thankfully, the Ranger stayed up waiting for us to give directions upon arrival. A word of caution: if you're driving north from Highway 70 and your GPS suggests turning onto Cozy Cove Rd, don't do it. It's a trap! Stick to the main road to avoid getting lost on some confusing farmers' roads. Despite the challenging journey, the camp itself was well worth it. The facilities were great, and my son thoroughly enjoyed his ATV training. The dedication of the staff, especially the Ranger, made our visit a positive experience overall. Just be prepared for the drive, and you'll have a great time at Dane G. Hansen Scout Reservation.

You're a good place to raise your kids . housing is cheap. We had a nice nice pheasant hatch in 2023.. If you love Ross snow geese stop inn.

Nice place during the day. Yet when its dark and you have no clue where or what buildings said events are in and have to walk all over the place just to find out where to go. Its just not that great of a place to have a public event. Gates closed off to where you need to go. No parking near the buildings. Had a heck of a time getting to where we needed.

Would have loved to have gotten a map stating what building is what so when our scouts switched activities we'd know where to go but aside from that it was amazing. P.s. if Google maps takes you the back way to the camp and the roads block go back to glade and head toward kirwin, go through kirwin And follow the road past the dam and you'll see a big wood sign.
