Karl is an incredibly talented hitting instructor! He has the experience and given ability to identify a player’s strengths and weaknesses. More importantly, he also knows exactly how to prioritize his improvements to work specifically as needed for that individual. Karl is as much of a great mental coach as he is a technical one. He teaches with a caring and sincere but yet firm approach to help push a player beyond their personal barriers. My son loves going to hitting lessons with Karl! Damage Hitter, and Karl in particular is a great hitting instructor. it took me 6months to get in and I am not leaving because I don't want to lose my spot. Karl has a way of simplifying the difficult aspects of hitting, and the minute details, that go into good hitting mechanics. Then what might be even more impressive is that he can get kids to understand it. Kids from every over rated club in the city are in search of Karl's advise, and help. That should tell you all you need know. In my opinion Karl is the best hitting instructor in Kansas City. Good luck getting in.

I fell backwards into meeting Karl. One of the teams I played on in middle school signed up for group lessons with Karl. Because of the quick improvements in my swing, my dad signed me up for private lessons (that I took all the way through high school). I was fortunate enough to play three out of my four high school summers for Karl on the Kansas City Barnstormers. Some of the best days and times of my youth were playing baseball while continuing to learn more about the game and more about life. Karl has a unique way of challenging you to be a better baseball player but more importantly a better man or woman.
