Great Place I recommend it if you want to enroll your child in Soccer

I had a disappointing experience. I didn’t receive any information until the day before the first practice, and when that day arrived, it was chaotic. My 3-year-old loves playing ball, but the kids leading the practice struggled to engage with such a young group effectively. If your child isn’t accustomed to large groups and chaotic environments, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I'm so disappointed in this organization. I registered my daughter to try recreational soccer between May and June, paid the registration fee, and called multiple times during summertime to ask because no one had contacted me and said anything. They finally told me I should be getting an email from her coach around the first week of August, and I never heard from anyone. I called again and was told that she was registered for a camp that was supposed to be in July, and now it's passed. The registration fee was around 100 dollars, and I am sad that we don't even get to do soccer this year, and they lied to me. I wish there were more soccer organizations in Sioux Falls.

We are bummed that the DASC appears to be the only soccer option in the Sioux Falls area because we have been a part of other soccer clubs and community orgs over the last decade and this is the most expensive with the least investment from the staff (at least for the rec league). We paid double for a season here what we paid last year for AYSO and we got a lot less (just a cotton t-shirt and no playoff tournament at the end of the season). The org seems to be focused mostly on competitive leagues.

My husband played soccer with Dakota Alliance competitively growing up. So we then decided when our boys were old enough they too would play soccer with them. My oldest son had played with the same group of boys since he was 4. Last fall he had to take a season off due to injury. When we joined back this spring they would not place Our son back on the same team he had played with since he began. They refused to work with us and instead placed him on a team in Harrisburg which is quite a ways away from our home. They seem to have a really difficult time locating coaches and almost every year we have started the team has been without a coach requiring a voluteer who has no experience.
