Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown, a nonprofit science museum, offers week-long and single-day STEM summer camps for students entering kindergarten through grade 8. Programs are grouped by age -- Little Learners run two-hour morning sessions (9-11am), while camps for grades 1-8 fill the day with hands-on science and include snacks (and lunch for grades 2-5). Probably geared towards a younger audiance but as 2 adults we had plenty of fun. Most signs were in English and Spanish. The cafe was small but had a descent selection but a bit pricey on many things. Same with the gift shop. Bring two quarters and a penny if you want a smashed penny.

Street parking is limited to 2 hours, park on the spiral if you can. Kid will want to spend longer here. Very interactive, every display have some sort of try and see effect. The Dino hydraulic is. Big hit. You neeed to see video or it to really experience it. So many very useful chemistry (dry ice) and engineering display. Great place! Just be aware that they have rotating display (E.g. Dinosaur display were from 4 year ago).

The new building is beautiful, and the space is very well organized, making it easy and enjoyable to explore. There are so many interactive exhibits — you can touch lightning, play as part of an orchestra, learn about anatomy, and even control a robot. One of our favorite parts was walking through the cave and enjoying the nature and waterfall — such a unique and memorable experience! Highly recommend visiting — it’s fun, educational, and inspiring for the whole family.
★★★★★J RamosThis place is such a fun and interesting spot to visit! There are tons of hands on learning activities for kids, and even some areas that adults will enjoy too. I actually found myself spending time in a section about the brain and ended up learning something new! My daughter had an amazing time she especially loved the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse area (available until mid-January 2026). It’s a pretty big space with plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. From the outside, the building looks small, but once you step inside and start exploring, you’ll realize it’s much bigger than it seems!
