I told Shane it was our first time, but he didn’t take the time to explain anything. My son lost a round on the pitching machine after the hopper ran out of balls, even though he still had 11 pitches left out of 15. When he tried to resume, it made him use another credit. Shane’s response was “there’s a sign.” I understand if that’s the policy, but if Shane had just taken a few minutes to explain how the process worked from the beginning, the whole situation could’ve been avoided. Thankfully, a kind staff member added credits back and apologized, which we really appreciated. Then 10 minutes before closing, Shane turned off the TV while my daughter was quietly watching—even though people were still actively using the cages. It felt rushed and unwelcoming. Disappointed overall. However, we decided to give it another try the following weekend, and I’m really glad we did. We met the owner(Daniel), who was very pleasant and took the time to explain everything clearly. He also apologized for the prior experience, which meant a lot. I even signed up for a membership because of how well he handled the situation. It’s clear he cares about his business and customers, and I appreciate the turnaround in experience.
