I had a fantastic experience at DBAT in College Station! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has everything players need to improve their skills. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. The instructors do a great job working with athletes of all levels and really focus on building confidence and technique. The batting cages and training areas are top-notch, and the atmosphere is very positive and encouraging. We love DBat! Great facility for baseball training! It is well-maintained, the cages and equipment are in excellent condition, and there’s plenty of room to work on all parts of the game. My experience with DBAT Aggieland recently has been extremely disappointing, especially considering how much time and money my team has spent supporting this facility. Our team has been using DBAT Aggieland for years, even before I arrived in College Station in 2023. We have spent countless hours practicing there and have consistently paid for memberships, cage rentals, and equipment. Personally, I have spent over $2,000 at this location, and our team has spent far more over the years. First, I want to say that the younger staff working there are excellent. They are consistently polite, professional, and hardworking, and they have always treated our players with respect. Unfortunately, our experiences with ownership have been the complete opposite. Earlier this year I called ahead about using a cage and was told by the owner that I could use one when I arrived because I had a membership. When I got there, the manager repeatedly told me “you should have booked,” despite the fact that I had already been told otherwise. The situation that ultimately ended our relationship with DBAT happened recently. Our team has used swing cards that were originally provided to the program years ago. When we went in to practice, we were told they didn’t have our card. When the owner came over to address the situation, his response was to throw his hands up and say “I don’t have time for this” before storming off. When he returned, he pointed at the swing cards and said he didn’t know how we got them and that they were no longer valid. He then walked away again without explaining where our card was. When I tried to calmly speak with someone else to understand what was happening, another owner came out and immediately began referring to our group as disrespectful before even speaking with us. She then told me they had taken our card because the team had been using it collectively and that if we wanted to continue using the facility every player would need to buy their own membership. Our team has 23 players. At $68 per month per membership, that would total about $1,564 per month or nearly $19,000 per year, which simply isn’t realistic for a group of college athletes. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. There was no prior communication that policies had changed, our card was taken without informing us, and when we tried to understand the situation we were met with dismissive and hostile attitudes from ownership. It’s unfortunate because the facility itself is great and the staff members working there are some of the nicest employees I’ve encountered. But the repeated disrespect and lack of professionalism from ownership ultimately forced our team to take our business elsewhere. After years of supporting this facility and spending thousands of dollars there, it’s incredibly disappointing to be treated the way we were.

D-BAT Aggieland is 5 star! My 9 year old son would live there, if he could. The facility is top notch and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s perfect for having a day of fun hitting off the pitching machines, catching/pitching practice in the reservable cages, or with more advanced/professional instructional needs. LESSONS: My son has truly enjoyed the use of his membership (camps, hitting cages, lessons, etc). His pitching and hitting lessons there with coach Graff are a favorite of his- coach Graff knows how to make lessons fun. My son is always eager to attend them and even hangs around after to chat with other members. We have definitely seen improvement, since starting our membership. EXTRAS: another one of my son's favorite things at D-Bat is his social media spotlight moments with Luke. They are so motivating. And, Luke is such a sweet soul. He greets us with a smile, is always available to assist us with all our needs, and never misses an opportunity to be encouraging. Our experience with DBat Aggieland overall has been nothing but great! If you have a luv for baseball or softball this is your place. There's also a pro shop that has everything you need. Definitely worth the membership!
