Cumberland Estates Community Center is a City of Knoxville Parks & Recreation community center that hosts the city's summer camp for children ages 6-12, offered as half-day sessions (mornings 9:00am-12:00pm and afternoons 1:00pm-4:00pm), Monday-Friday across seven weeks in June and July. Camp includes recreational activities, field trips and daily meals. It is one of nine community-center camp sites.

★Rachel AI used to love going there as a kid, my fiancee did as well. Well we had an unpleasant visit in this evening. We stopped in after a walk around the neighborhood, and the young lady was either new, or just not a people's person or whatever the reason, she was rather snooty and tried to recommend that we go to the rec center on the east Knoxville, or the one in south Knoxville because they had "free weight rooms" and why she thought that was what she was supposed to do or she just wasn't paying attention or whatever it was we had just told her that we lived in Cumberland Estates. Lol, and they were having adult dodgeball from 6:30-8:30 and we had decided that we would just wait til next week and come back and we preceded to go into the weight room and that's when she told us we couldn't use the weight rooms because the people that were playing the dodgeball would need it to workout afterwards when they wanted and we couldnt work out during the week, until summertime. It was just a disappointing visit, the rest of the staff have usually always been nice, and remembered us and are usually so friendly. This little lady, bless her heart, just didn't seem to know what was going on or just didn't have the best people skills.

★★★★Brandon Pouncythis is a pretty decent gym that includes bleachers but you will be a little upset because the roof will leak if it rains very hard in East Tennessee we have had that likely. Be careful be weary but have fun. It's like a huge community and I do a lot to help with kids!
