Cub Scouts Pack 501 is a co-ed Cub Scout pack serving youth in grades K-5 in East Brunswick, South River, Milltown and surrounding communities. It is a year-round scouting unit rather than a summer camp, running den meetings, community service projects and events such as the Keep Middlesex Moving Bike Rodeo. Information is published through the pack's Facebook and Instagram pages rather than a camp website.

★★★★★Jeffrey SzeI might be a little biased as I'm a den leader and the outdoors activities chair, which is probably why our camping trips are so darn good! But, in all seriousness, I've only been with the pack for 1.5 years and even before I joined I carefully screened all the local packs available to me and coming from a pack that had little structure and support pack 501 has it all. Almost all positions are filled not just with any random body, but a knowledgeable and dedicated individual that's passionate about their role and responsibilities. It pushes me to elevate myself and contribute in such an impactful way as my peers. Almost all the parents, leaders and non-leaders are simply a pleasure and joy to be around. We all have the same goal in our mind, the children! Come give us a try any week, I promise you won't be disappointed!
