★Andrew PadenOur church came to Crowders Springs for a 4 day 3 night kids camp. I'm sure this location makes for a great day camp...but there are not adequate facilities to be hosting overnight campers. We came on a hot summer weekend. And it become borderline unsafe for the kids. There was a single building that held maybe 40 kids and the AC couldnt keep up. The yurts were well over 100 degrees in the daytime. All meals were served outside. The porta jons (not restrooms) were overflowing by day 2. We were told to use the garden hose to fill up the water jugs set out for us (the kids primary source of water) if the staff couldnt get around to it. Again, Crowders Ridge is a completely different story. And I believe this location is set up to be a really nice day camp. But the facilities as is are in no shape to be hosting over nighters.
