Crowders Ridge is a nonprofit, non-denominational Christian camp near Gastonia that runs an adventure day camp featuring a high-up obstacle course, zipline, and waterfront and pool time. Day-camp activities take place at Crowders Springs Camp in Kings Mountain with some at the Crowders Ridge site, and transportation between them is provided. Sibling discounts and case-by-case scholarships are available; located at 130 Camp Rotary Rd, Gastonia.

The kids grow in their relationship with the Lord in a drastic way! Even for me, a leader, I had a ton of fun and felt myself enjoying the Joy of the Lord in an amazing way!
★★★★★Wesley HWe took a group of 100 sixth graders here for an overnight school field trip and loved it. The camp is extremely clean, well organized, and has a ton of fun activities. The staff are all very friendly and great with kids. The food is really good and perfect for a large group of kids who may have allergies or dietary restrictions. We loved our experience here and will definitely be returning next year. We have done other camps in the past, which were not nearly as nice not as accommodating.

The chutes felt like I was once again racing across the Arctic tundra (minus the polar bears), although there was a three-legged cat named Chuckles that befriended me. I would recommend CRC for family or group fun to everyone!
★★★Connor DeatonI just went there for week 2 of the student camp, and it was fun but there are a couple of things you should know before coming. 1. It’s a camp so don’t expect amazing food but the activities and the worships make up for it, 2. Please please please keep ahold of your stuff. I’ve lost a shampoo bottle which I know it happens but a friend of mine lost all of their dirty clothes that was in a bag in their cabin. I don’t know what happened to it but I feel like if the camp found the clothes or anything worth 50$ or more they should ship it back to the church. I’d be more than willing to pay them to give us our stuff back because some of those clothes are season specific (like only sold in the spring) and are 50$ it’s self. The camp overall is good just make sure you don’t lose anything.
★★★★Vivian StinnettI had a great experience at Crowders Ridge Camps with my friends. However, watch out for poison ivy!! 😭 It seems to be everywhere… 2+ people in my group had a terrible reaction to it, (and were itching for weeks)! Also, while I was there, I accidentally left my swimsuit next to the dorms. We contacted them, but we never got an answer. (That was a brand new swimsuit 😩😩) PS, since the lake that you can swim in has massive amounts of dye in it, another one of my friends had an allergic reaction to the dye and had to go to the hospital. Watch out for that!! So, let’s just say by the time we got home we all had some sort of reaction/injury 💀 We were pretty beat up!!
