Visited the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit on the Memorial Day weekend along with my 8 year old son(on his birthday) who loves animals… He was excited to see few animals/birds in the cage… At 12 noon they feed animals up close, would probably be the best time to visit. We were very impressed with a gentleman named Todd who was extremely kind and patient with my son and let him hold few non venomous snakes and also showed him around the room with few other rare animal exhibits. Small place to look around in a park, but entertaining for sure ! A big shout out to Todd for making the tour lively and engaging…

This was an amazing afternoon with my Grandson! The only complaint I had was the number of bikes and scooters on the sidewalks. We were almost hit at least 3 times and witnessed several others that had to jump out of the way of the people speeding through the park. Oh all honesty, something should be done about it to ensure the safety of people there to enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

Google classifies this as a "zoo" which I'd consider a bit misleading as it's "just" a few handfuls of animals in a single divided enclosure. That said, it is still a cool collection of seemingly very well-cared-for animals, and if you come during feeding time, you are treated to a super-informative and interesting show and tell (and feed) from the very knowledgeable staff, which I'd definitely recommend if you are going to visit. But what really bumps this place up to 5 stars for me is just how much the people working there seem to genuinely know and care about each and every one of the animals. It was truly a pleasure to witness their love-of and dedication-to what they do and to see their top- notch treatment of each and every animal in their care. And, as a small bonus, it is also located in a rather nice park, so if you have a bit more time to kill, you can enjoy a lovely walk through said park as well!

We had a great time at the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit! The place is super clean and well-kept. We got there about 45 minutes before they fed Rufus the bobcat, which gave us time to check things out. The kids had a blast tossing food to the ducks in the pond with one of the caretakers, who was really nice. We also watched the beaver get fed, which was cool to see. Everyone there seemed to really care about the animals, and it made the visit fun. We’d definitely go back!

Very cool experience. Spring Break 2025. A person might want to prepare their children ahead of time, if planning to visit during feeding hours. When feeding the bobcat he will devour a thawed rat and raw chicken, with bones crunching and all. Yes, this is the food chain. But.... A little disturbing for the younger children. And .... The poor bobcat regurgitated due to eating a little too quickly,.,.. But.... Loved the experience and will be visiting again very soon. ..... Thank You!.
