Creative Heart dance studio has wonderful and talented faculty. Both my granddaughters attend classes there. I am a professional dancer and I have only positive things to say about this dance school, the owner and teachers.

After seven years at Creative Heart Dance Studio for my oldest daughter and three years for my youngest, I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family. My girls have not only grown tremendously as dancers, but also as confident, kind, hardworking young girls in an incredibly positive and supportive environment. What truly sets Creative Heart apart is the sense of community. The friendships my daughters have built — and the friendships the dance moms have built — are something we treasure deeply. We genuinely feel like part of a family. The atmosphere is welcoming, encouraging, and uplifting, and the studio has created such a beautiful culture of teamwork, positivity, and support. The owner Gina and artistic director Joanna are absolutely incredible. They work tirelessly for these children and families, and their dedication shows every single day. Running a dance studio is not easy, yet they somehow manage to create an environment that is organized, supportive, professional, and full of heart. They are always willing to help parents, answer questions, support the dancers, and go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and cared for. Their love for the studio and the kids is obvious in everything they do. The studio itself is beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for families. The lobby is comfortable and spacious, and as a mom of two dancers, I especially appreciate having a safe, clean place where my older daughter can sit and do homework in between classes while I know she is safe and surrounded by people we trust. For families who spend many hours at dance each week, that means so much. The teachers have also been wonderful role models for my daughters over the years, helping them grow both technically and personally. My oldest daughter has been there since she was two years old and has blossomed into a strong, confident dancer who truly loves being at the studio. My youngest lights up every time she walks through the doors. That says everything to me as a parent. Creative Heart has given our family so much more than dance. It has given my girls confidence, friendships, mentorship, memories, and a true second home. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this dance family and look forward to many more years there.

In response to the owner's response, which was much appreciated to be sure. They do have a card table, with two seats, behind the front desk area, but I have NEVER been told that my little one could eat their snacks there, NOT ONCE. I would've felt very differently if the manager had said, you know we don't want kids walking around with snacks, or here's this table to keep a mess at a minimum. Or if there had been a designated snacking area so the poor manager would only have to clean up one section. As far as discipline, the teachers have never communicated with me. I remember once, at BDS, right after we experienced a death in the family, my daughter's teacher texted me that night and asked if everything was okay. She noticed that she was sad. The teacher very much didn't have to do that. So imagine how I felt when someone who wasn't my daughter's teacher told me my daughter wasn't doing good listening. But what could I expect from a high schooler? The owner mentions professionalism, but I've never felt any level of professionalism from the manager. I will note that Gina herself is very outgoing, asks how everyone is doing, etc. etc. To avoid the diatribe... Came from Boca Dance Stuidio in search of greener pastures. We left because we had to stand or sit on the floor outside, and it felt like the school might be too big for our taste. Creative Heart has an air conditioned lobby, but only has two studios, you can't eat in the lobby at all. There is ONE bench outside to accommodate your children while they snack.. Your children. Really all the children of the studio, and their siblings. There is no area for the kids to play or do homework. I mention the playing because while it's not their responsibility to provide an area to play or do homework, there are kids that are here for hours and I very well may have signed up for more classes if there had been a place for my baby to snack, my child to read, etc. You don't see your child's progress week to week and the teacher doesn't update you.... One of her teachers is in high school, the other is in college. The only way I knew that my daughter wasn't doing good listening two weeks in a row was because my daughter's friend's older sister was helping out for that class. I would have never known, and I wouldn't have been able to coach my daughter. Once a month, they have a "bring a friend" week, I told our other friends to not even bother, I can't vouch or recommend this studio where we're at right now, but my husband is reserving judgment till the recital. Once a month, they also have observations where you get to see the last 15 min or so of class. I have been here since August, and haven't really been impressed by any of the observations. One of the observations we sat in had the class do stretches for 7 min and then let us go... I was incredibly annoyed. On a personal note, and this is not the consensus though I have had a handful of moms agree with me including two that left the studio MID YEAR, I find the manager very rude. It feels like she just barks orders and you really are at the mercy of her mood swings. The moms that are here have created a community, and that is to no thanks to the studio. The manager does less than the bare minimum. While other businesses believe that cleaning is part of the overhead, they believe they are above it, despite their Roomba. Boca dance actually had programming, bonding opportunities, hang outs, etc. Will update post recital.

I cannot recommend Creative Heart enough! Gina (the owner) along with all the other teachers/student teachers do a phenomenal job! One of those reasons we choose Creative Heart was the student to teacher ratio, the teachers really take the time get to know the kids, very professional, family orientated and the teachers are very respectful in what they choose for their music and dance costumes. The teachers are not only teaching these kids how to dance but they are also taught discipline and to respect not only their teachers but also their fellow peers. My 5 year old daughter also attended summer camp at Creative Heart and absolutely loved it! The performances that were put on at the end of the week were amazing!

My two daughters have been dancing with Ms. Gina for the past 10 years, long before she owned her own amazing studio. My older daughter danced competitively and was invited to teach several classes for Gina. Her influence clearly shaped the young woman my daughter is today. My younger daughter dances more for fun and has been able to advance her skills while she is having a great time. The wonderful aspect of this studio is that Gina and her great teachers have cultivated a studio that inspires both early and advanced dancers to develop at their own pace while creating a love of dance. I could not recommend this studio more!
