Craftsman & Apprentice
Private
Craftsman & Apprentice is a Denver maker workshop whose summer Maker Camps serve kids ages 5-11 in themed weeks such as Toy Shop, Ancestral Skills, Puppet Party and Fiber Arts. Campers work with real tools and materials across woodworking, fiber arts, ancestral skills and open-ended building, in a 3,000-plus-square-foot barrel-roofed space with three classrooms. Enrollment is capped at about 20 kids per week, and an off-site camp for ages 11-15 has run with as few as eight participants. The shop also offers year-round classes, a Friday Maker Club and school enrichment.

Powered by GoogleI took my nieces (3.5 and 5 years old) and we had the best time! They wanted to keep crafting after our hour and fifteen minutes were up. Hannah was especially lovely!
We hosted my 5YO's birthday party here, and had a terrific experience. Curtis was an excellent teacher/supervisor, the kids loved creating junk robots, and the parents enjoyed being able to drop and return. 10/10 would recommend!
So we had our firat class today and it went great. They offer a free class to see if your kids like it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My son loved it and we are going to sign up for the weekly class. Lots of space and they let the kids build what they want and really allow them to use their imagination. 5 stars, very cool place.
Craftsman and Apprentice is an amazing camp. My son attended last summer, and it was such a beautifully positive experience. The teachers are so cool and supportive and lovely, and my son felt completely accepted and seen through the whole summer. They also did really wonderful projects, like make their own board games. My favorite project (and my son's favorite too) was the little puppet theater he made with his class, and the puppets they made to go with it. It was so thoughtful and adorable. One of the coolest things Craftsman did was that they elevated my kid's confidence by allowing and encouraging him to do most of the real work himself - including the work with real tools. This place is amazing. I highly recommend.
Had an awesome time at The Craftsman and Apprentice. Delanie, one of the owners, showed us how to do linoleum block cutting. I ended up making a logo for my company. They also have lots of items on sale like greeting cards, t-shirts and craft kits. I highly recommend this amazing workshop!
