The County of Hawai'i Department of Parks and Recreation operates the islandwide Summer Fun program, a low-cost summer day camp for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade at sites across Hawai'i Island. Keiki enjoy sports, music, crafts, dance, games and excursions on weekdays through June and July.
