We signed Jesse up for martial arts to help him overcome being shy. When Jesse first started he wouldn’t make eye contact with the instructors. As seen with Ms. Pace, lead instructor. However, with lots of patience and guidance these instructors. It helped him become more confident. Mrs. Sanders has worked with him the most in the last four years. Becoming like a second mom and knowing him so well that a look corrects anything askew. He hopes to have her tie on his black belt. As she did the first belt. Mr. Gardner comes off strong with his confident sparring skill set. However, Jesse finally became confident to stand in front of him in sparring class. One day maybe even spar him. The night Mr. Davidson received his high degree. Jesse told me that one day he wanted to that. Mr. Davidson has inspired Jesse to strive to be a high degree. Owner of Core and face of the place Mr. Fowler has helped Jesse grow in so many ways. The chance to do martial arts in the park to the weapons training with swords. Anyone can see the love that Mr. Fowler has for martial arts and helping the kids learn and grow. Core Martials is a safe place to find a voice and some friends. It is a place where community becomes family. Just ask any of the Tuesday Thursday Crew. Whether the kids are at Parent’s Night Out or Tournament we cheer each other on and watch over each other. Core maybe a new building but the team at the heart of it is experienced instructors who just love the kids. With two Amanda’s to welcome you and help you feel at home even when you are nervous about the sparring part. The Avery clan who will advise you through the thousand questions about martial arts from white belt to black belts.

My 6 year old daughter is loving her classes here! Ms. Sanders is a wonderful instructor. She’s attentive and encouraging, and clearly cares about the kiddos. Everyone on staff has been incredibly welcoming and helpful from day one. The class structure is thoughtful and well organized, and the studio is clean and nice. We’ve had a great experience so far and definitely recommend it!

The staff are super nice and amazing patient people! They had an instructor be my daughter's helper since she was new to the bigger kids group and she wanted to cry but they encouraged her the whole time and assisted her form to make sure it was accurate. The fun exercise games they do at the end of class is fun to watch as well. My son is more energetic and less "stay put" but they work with him very well to slow down and have fun learning. The best place around!!!!!
