Copper Basin Bible Camp used to be my favorite place to go as a child. Until the current board took over and hired a man with to look over the grounds. I experienced his uncomfortable remarks first hand. And when I had a representative come forward with these concerns, the groundskeeper just denied it and they moved on. Since then, EVEN THOUGH I have NEVER seen a groundskeeper at camp, this man has been around the children during camp weeks and has even come into contact with young people on camp. I will not go into more detail there. He denied all allegations, from dozens of Christian participants and the current board let him, and currently he still resides there. This angry, inappropriate employee made me gasp when I witnessed him speaking inappropriately to my daughter and other young girls. I feel this is an unsafe place for my child. It breaks my heart to say. Stay clear if you don’t want yourself or your children to potentially experience the harassment me and many other people have had to face here. Stay clear until it is confirmed he is off the property and there is new management. I am anxiously awaiting that day.
