Concord Yacht Club runs a summer youth Sail Camp at its Concord Sailing Center near Concord Park in Knoxville (Farragut), Tennessee for children ages 8–16. Camps meet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., grouping students into fleets by age and experience, with US Sailing certified instructors. Campers must be able to swim 50 yards and bring their own life jacket.

Members are required to work 20 hours a year at the club, if you choose to part of the “fleet”, which allows you to check out a variety of boats, there is an additional 5 hours of work required. But on weekends when the lake is crowded with speedboats, their wake makes using the boat ramp a little challenging. Better have your fenders tied on before you approach the dock!
