I went there and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Gianna
Amazing organization to volunteer for! Compass does an amazing job serving students’ variety of needs - academic, social-emotional, food security, and mentorship. There’s a reason why former students remember the program so fondly - and come back to volunteer themselves!! :)
My kid got accepted for the summer of 2021 but never got to go. I talked to the person in charge and was told that they were waiting on the bus company before they could get transportation. I get having issues, but even once the bus issue was resolved I never got anything telling me what school my kid would be at or anything. I would have though since I was corresponding with the person in charge that I would have been notified of something, but I never was. I could have made other arrangements for my kid for the summer. I’m super disappointed with the program.
