The Community Youth Center, run by the La Crosse Area Family YMCA, is a free drop-in center for youth ages 10–17 in La Crosse. During summer it is open Monday–Friday 12:00pm–7:00pm with free activities including art and music, meals, skill-building and peer support in a safe, substance-free environment. It is a nonprofit youth program rather than an enrollment-based camp.

★BraxI was going to the y right. I currently got suspended from school and apparently I can't go there. So if your parent and your kid just got suspended from school. They're trying to have your kid go to the y. Don't let him go to the y. Just let him stay home. They are a bad community. They say random stuff like you are no longer supposed to be here then they're going to lock the doors on you and look at you like you're a dangerous person
