If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I signed my son up with this league back in November/December 2025 with a team called Horizon Stars. Once practices were going to supposedly start they sent me a message saying that team wasn't going to happen anymore because the coach didn't pass a background check. And when messaged about this they even got the name of the team I had signed up my son for wrong. They wanted to move my son to a different team which would've been a complete inconvenience for me because of the location. I chose the Horizon Stars because it was close to me(Horizon City) and was a better location due to work and kids school schedule. I tried calling, texting and emailing the league for a refund and never got a response back from anyone. The emails I sent got returned back because the email addresses posted are also fake emails. Do not go with this league. They just make up teams and steal your money. Some pictures are included for reference.

I volunteered to coach a team that did not have a coach (on another side of town). They cut our season short and moved another team in our place 2 weeks before playoffs with absolutely NO communication from the league. Marcus or Tara do not respond back to text, messages, calls, or emails for refunds or schedule requests. I was forced to tell the team our season was over with no explanation. Parents whose kids were placed on our team, but were not in our age group had a hard time getting in contact and receiving a refund. They had a team on roster and on schedule that were not playing, and a forfeit would be given to each team which they also counted as a game. They did not have refs officiating our first two games and when we did, repeated bad calls. They also charge other fees that they do not tell you about beforehand. Great at making “videos”, fb ads, and collecting fees but nonexistent when it counts. Unprofessional to say the least. Do not waist your time with this “league.”

If you want to put your child where there is never enough referees to ref your game, or a league that has NEW refs every game and don’t know what they’re doing, or a league that lets 12 year olds play in a 11U team or 14 year olds play in a 13U league because they are “ lenient “ than this league is for you ! Ref fees paid every game for refs that allow other kids to push, pull, tackle, wrap up, in a flag football league. Player fees to sign up your kids to give you CRAPPY fields with Walmart paint markers, and no rules to be followed. This league is a JOKE. If it weren’t for the fact that this is the only league with more than 5 teams playing I wouldn’t be here. But just know your money that is spent is doing nothing to help the league and just filling pockets. A league where parents LOVE when their kids are ill mannered and disrespectful towards others with no class. Where parents will get fined for speaking up for their kids because the refs and league can’t do their jobs

🗑️ Signed my son up for summer and he was left with no team to play on. I was not informed his team was cancelling this summer league . Tried getting in contact with someone for 3 months!! Not one person answered or returned any of my messages. all of my attempts to reach someone were ignored . No one available help me even switch him to a new team since the one he was on left the league and not one person bothered to tell me, but yet let me sign my child up with this team KNOWING they were leaving the league. And here we are end of season and he did not get to play ONE game with ANY team. I called and emailed multiple times the past several weeks the main number on the website, the admin email address as well as call & text coach Johnson MULTIPLE times weekly and no response or call back. This is an absolute SHAME & embarrassing way to conduct ! What about the hashtag on your website #characterfirst? Great example. My son sat around all summer sad because this league did not care to take action for him !! need to work on communication skills. Very quick to take the money but ZERO decency to help me address this issue in ANY WAY FORM. Couldn’t get the money I paid for him play this summer back since he didn't even get the opportunity to play because of YOUR behalf! Not ours. I requested the registration amount back on cash app and it was denied . If SOMEONE has time to deny the request and post stuff on social media .. someone has the time to contact me back on this matter ! Your website states exceptions should be made if league or season was canceled and that’s exactly what happened to us. It would have been nice to have been able to put him with a new team but we didn’t even get THAT option. Would not recommend wasting your time with this pathetic “league”. Ghetto

I wish I could give them less than one star. The coaches are allowed to ref their own teams games and the league owner makes the rules to benefit his own team. The games never start on time - they are always at least 30 minutes behind schedule. The league owner does not care about the kids - he is in it for himself. He goes out of his way to provoke other coaches so they can be fined. Nobody ever responds to emails or voice mails.
