10/10 recommend sending your children to Comfort Zone Camp if your family is going through loss. It's a safe, fun place where kids can be kids again with friends who know grief.

Attending the Parent Grief Camp was truly one of the most profound experiences of my life. As a first-timer, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by a group of incredibly resilient, compassionate women. We shared our stories, our pain, and our healing in a way that created an unspoken bond. The weekend provided more comfort, strength, and understanding than I could have imagined. It was a space where I felt seen, supported, and empowered and I will carry those moments of connection with me forever. To any parents considering this camp, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take that step. If you’re feeling uncertain or alone in your grief, this is a place where you can find comfort and community. You don’t have to walk this journey by yourself there is healing and strength waiting for you here ❤️.

My son attended Comfort Zone Camp for the first time last month and he had such a meaningful experience in a short few days. The support and resources he had with the fellow campers and volunteers was important for him to continue to work through the grief and trauma of losing his father at a young age. What he gained from Comfort Zone Camp was more than I could have ever provided for him using my own devices and I am beyond grateful at the opportunity to gift my son with such an important experience. Additionally, the bond he developed with his big buddy Scott was genuine - it meant a lot to my son to forge such a special relationship with someone who had experienced a similar loss.

Comfort Zone Camp is amazing. I first volunteered in 2009 and continue to volunteer (currently 2021) because I have seen the difference it makes in the campers who attend. It’s impactful! As a volunteer, I also get a lot out of my experiences at CZC.

Comfort Zone Camp is a great organization that I am proud to volunteer for and sponsor. The positivity, compassion and healing experienced at Camp is tremendous. With over 20 years of history and 20,000 kids and young adults served, it is a premiere resource for bereavement from loss
